Mr. Darin Blunier

Trying to raise eight children on a small hobby farm, while at the same time juggling the responsibilities of chairing on an Illinois State FFA CDE Committee as well as building his own chapter, Mr. B has been an inspiration to all he comes in contact with. Darin Blunier was born to a family of seven and was raised on a grain and hog farm outside of Princeville, Illinois. He was very active in the Princeville FFA Chapter all through his high school years. He held several offices at the chapter level as well as serving as the Section 5 Sentinel.

Mr. Blunier also played basketball, was active in student government and served as Student Body President during high school.
Mr. Blunier has made several advancements and improvements to his program over the years. Over the past 15 years, he has added several applicable learning experiences for the students. Some of these include the following: One greenhouses on the school grounds, Two Electricity & Welding classes (Stick, MIG, & TIG Weldors), Animal Science Dept. The list could go on and on.

Mr. Blunier believes very strongly in the power of hands-on learning opportunities. He takes two classes out to the greenhouse for Horticulture as well as two mechanics classes to the ag shop. These opportunities can give the students applicable knowledge and skills that they will use down the road in their own lives.

Miss Lilah Bobinski

Miss Bobinski began teaching in 2022 after graduating from Illinois State University. Before transferring to ISU, she studied at Illinois Central College. In addition to teaching agriculture, she continues to help on her family's farm where they grow corn and soybeans along with raising black Angus cattle and American bison. Miss Bobinski's family has been raising buffalo for 85 years.
Prior to teaching, Miss Bobinski began her career in the agriculture industry with food service jobs, landscaping and mowing, and working at Helena Agri-Enterprises in addition to her work on the farm. If Miss Bobinski wasn't an agriculture teacher, she would spend her time farming. Harvest, in her opinion, is "the most wonderful time of the year".
